Misschiefs Takeover is a rescue operation for women artists who are particularly impacted by the current global economic crisis. In collaboration with major firms holding the keys to large empty spaces in major European cities, we provide free art studios to a selected group of women artists and designers to work, show and sell their art directly to the public.
Our first Misschiefs Takeover Art Studio Pop-Up is in Stockholm from August 10 to October 8, open to the public from 10am to 5pm everyday. Located on Linnégatan 4, Misschiefs takes over a 500m2 former laundry factory. All the original Misschiefs collectible design pieces, video art and installations will be on display, as well as a group of 10 selected women artists who will work daily on site.

Misschiefs is originally a groundbreaking feminist exhibition of contemporary collectible design that showcases a unique group of ten trailblazing Swedish womxn designers and artists selected for the punk nature of their work, at the crossing of design, craft and art.
